NAME

ns_normalizepath - Normalize a path

SYNOPSIS

ns_normalizepath path

DESCRIPTION

ns_normalizepath removes any extraneous slashes from the path and resolves "." and ".." references. For example: [ns_normalizepath /dog/cat/../.. /rat/../../dog//mouse/..]

returns: /dog
