Here is a small sample of the success that Panoptic has had delivering great work to its clients.
Voodoo Lab, a designer and manufacturer of professional electronics for musicians, wanted to offer its customers a self-service means of ordering select items as a lower-cost alternative to placing phone orders. The solution was to launch an online e-commerce store that contained these products.
The client chose osCommerce to power their online store. Panoptic customized osCommerce to match Voodoo Lab’s existing website design, configured everything to meet their requirements, and fully set up and installed the software on their existing web hosting account.
The client contacted Panoptic looking to improve their website so that they could more effectively communicate with prospective customers. Panoptic provided a new design and produced a custom Joomla! template from it. Specific focus was placed on optimizing placement in search engine results (SEO), along with ease of updating copy and maintenance of the site’s content moving forward.
Logan wanted to replace Thesis as his WordPress theme with a custom Genesis child theme that better reflected the marketing of his services. Based on a design he provided, Panoptic created the custom theme and provided installation support to ensure he was able to get up and running smoothly.
Ashworth Bros., Inc.
Panoptic was brought in to complete Ashworth’s website transition to Joomla, bringing the technical expertise required to fully implement Joom!Fish. Ashworth’s site manages translations into ten different languages, with a focus on SEO.
Christina Kruse, a model and photographer, wanted a simple, minimalist design to display her work online. She hired Panoptic to build this custom WordPress theme, built on top of the Genesis Theme framework, with a custom image gallery.
Choose On Purpose
“I rarely recommend someone at an outstanding level, but Dossy is the exception. I have had less than satisfactory support in the past on my website, so my hopes for great support and timely execution had been dashed. But Dossy has proven that technical expertise and friendliness, customer focus, and speaking in plain English are indeed achievable from a true professional is the IT support world. Well done Dossy! You have another loyal client who will be coming back for your services.”
This website was running an older WordPress 2.8.6 with PHP 4 and MySQL 4. Panoptic was able to export the data, import it into MySQL 5, reconfigure the hosting setup to use PHP 5 and upgrade to WordPress 3.0.
“I needed a PHP/MySQL/Wordpress guru and chose Dossy over several other providers that had many more jobs completed on eLance. He was the only one that took the time to complete the eLance tests (was in top 1% in two skills I needed and top 5% in the other). He was extremely proactive in providing me with updates throughout the project and kept his costs at the quoted price, even though it took longer than expected due to issues with our hosting provider. I would definitely use Dossy again and recommend him to others.”
Andy Henriquez, Professional Speaker
This website had a misconfigured WordPress MU 2.8 installation that resulted in the registration of 19,000 unwanted blogs, causing the hosting provider to shut down the site. Panoptic was able to quickly drop some 130,000 database tables to clean everything up, and upgraded to WordPress 3.0, correcting the configuration in the process. This satisfied the hosting company and brought the site back online.
