IRC [15:45] <tekbasse> Dossy, are you here? With nsopenssl3, I recall you saying that the CAdir and CAFile have to exist even if they're not used. ie. don't comment out those ns_params. Can you confirm this?
IRC [16:19] <tekbasse> bbl I'll check todays log for your answer

IRC [22:19] <Dossy> p/lastlog 50
IRC [22:19] <pingdashf> Sup Dossy?
IRC [22:19] <Dossy> tekbasse: I don't recall making those statements, but I might have -- the CAdir and CAfile don't need to point to anything.
IRC [22:20] <Dossy> hey, ping-f!
IRC [22:20] <Dossy> Slumming it with us on IRC, hm?
IRC [22:20] <pingdashf> Trying to learn this damn JSP crap, when in need of advice on shitty systems, where better to be?
IRC [22:31] <tekbasse> ok, thanks Dossy
IRC [22:33] <Dossy> Heh.
IRC [22:33] <Dossy> working on Jean-Fabrice's question to the mailing list -- getting PHP working on multiple virtual servers under AOLserver.
IRC [22:33] <Dossy> Should be ... interesting.
IRC [22:34] <pingdashf> Fun
IRC [22:34] <pingdashf> I'm working on getting css min-width to work in IE
IRC [22:35] <pingdashf> For some reason when I implement it it crashes IE.
IRC [22:35] <pingdashf> i'd like to know how and why so I can force IE to crash :)
IRC [22:50] <Dossy> hee
IRC [22:50] <Dossy> IE doesn't speak CSS2 does it?
IRC [22:50] <Dossy> as in, I don't think it understands things like min-width and such.
IRC [22:51] <pingdashf> It mostly does
IRC [22:51] <pingdashf> its the few it doesn't that are annoying as hell
IRC [22:51] <pingdashf> min-width and display: table are the most annoying.
IRC [22:52] <pingdashf> The absolute killer are really not spec issue but places where the spec actually wasn't clear enough. LIke IE will add scroll bars to the outside of a div on overflow and Moz puts them on the inside.
IRC [22:59] <Dossy> Thank god for standards! :)
IRC [22:59] <Dossy> wow, reading over last weeks' AOLP status report is frightening.
IRC [23:05] <brunom> Hey Dossy, what's AOLP?
IRC [23:06] <Dossy> brunom: AOL Products
IRC [23:06] <Dossy> Grr. Looks like libphp4.so shits the bed if you try to run it in two different virtual servers. SIGSEGV - ug.
IRC [23:07] <Dossy> Probably because of the dynaload. Hmm.
IRC [23:26] <brunom> If you don't mind me asking Dossy, why is it frightening?
IRC [23:31] <pingdashf> Dossy, you actually read those? Maybe I should start. What is frightening about it?
IRC [23:31] <pingdashf> Maybe I shouldn't have admitted to not reading them in a logged forum.
IRC [23:31] <pingdashf> :)
IRC [23:36] <Dossy> brunom: I can't really answer without getting myself into trouble. :)
IRC [23:36] <brunom> OK :)
IRC [23:37] <Dossy> ping-f: Yeah ... :-)
IRC [23:53] <Dossy> Time for bed. Good night.
IRC [23:57] <brunom> g'night
