IRC [12:19] <Dossy> HELO/EHLO are supposed to identify the sending /host/
IRC [12:19] <Dossy> there's only one legitimate value *per machine*
IRC [12:19] <Dossy> so even running virtual servers on the same physical machine, it should be the same HELO/EHLO.

IRC [12:23] <siddfinch> of course, if a /usr/sbin/sendmail option is added, it can be completely forgotten about and you can just use the systems mail server :->
IRC [12:25] <siddfinch> Since ns_sendmail calls _ns_sendmail it shouldn't be that hard to create a _ns_system_sendmail and add a switch to use either one (I have been using something simalar on uptime)
