IRC [10:10] <_justQ> Hi =), have you ever used java servlets with AolServer and how? I tried last week using nsjava but it is out of date, didn't compile propertly and it has compatibility issues with new versions of JDK, gcc and Binutils... =(

IRC [12:29] <Dossy> Hey, anyone want to help test the Win32 AOLserver installer I just rolled?
IRC [12:29] <Dossy> where's shedi :)
IRC [12:33] <_justQ> I would but unfortunately I only have Linux here, sorry Dossy =(
IRC [13:54] <Dossy> no problem :)
IRC [13:56] <_justQ> by the way, I read you message last week about this bad time when using java and aolserver .... have you heard about jfreechart ?
IRC [13:57] <_justQ> hihihi, I'm still fighting :P
IRC [14:41] <Dossy> :)
IRC [14:41] <Dossy> I've never heard of jfreechart--no.
IRC [14:50] <_justQ> well, it's an opensource project which provides basically a huge set of amazing java classes to plot charts in a very very easy way... I need to make it work with aolserver and I've trying to do it in a servlet
IRC [14:55] <_justQ> I tried with nsjava because some guys could do it but long time ago, when nsjava was compatible with that version of the JDK in that moment... right now, the JDK version is not supported by nsjava anymore as you said last week =(... so, I've been looking for a different way to do it , maybe with nsjk2, I read that you are the wizard with nsjk2 and nstomcat, so my question is if you have done servlets with Aolserver?
IRC [16:11] <Dossy> it's not a JD
IRC [16:11] <Dossy> i don't think it's a JDK issue, it's an AOLserver issue
IRC [16:12] <Dossy> I'm guessing nsjava only works with AOLserver 3.x now.
IRC [16:34] <_justQ> ahh ok :(
IRC [16:35] <_justQ> so, I definitely will need to upgrade nsjava first and make it works with JDK 1.6 and Aolserver4
IRC [16:54] <Dossy> yeah
IRC [16:54] <Dossy> or, try using AOLserver 3.x
IRC [16:54] <Dossy> making nsjava work w/ AOLserver 4 may not even be possible--not sure
IRC [16:54] <Dossy> not without a LOT of work
IRC [17:10] <_justQ> ahh ok ='(, thanks for your advice
IRC [17:10] <_justQ> any idea how to use servlets with aolserver ?
IRC [17:52] <_justQ> BRB
